Guinea, with its vast coastal and marine areas, hosts some of the richest mangrove ecosystems in West Africa. However, these vital ecosystems face increasing threats. Aware of these challenges, the OCP Foundation, in partnership with the Center for the Protection of Marine and Coastal Environments (CNPMZC), launched a pilot project aimed at preserving and developing the mangroves of Sangareya Bay, while improving the living conditions of the local communities. This project seeks to combine community development and environmental protection through a set of concrete actions.
